A smarter way to renovate kitchens
...without gutting the room
Traditional kitchen renovations carry hidden costs: countertop demolition, tile tear-out, cabinet disruption, waste hauling, permit delays, and weeks without a working kitchen. Cement-based microcement can install over existing surfaces too, but introduces its own risks — shrinkage cracking, efflorescence, color shift during cure. TERRAZZO GraniTech avoids both paths.
Percentage savings hold across markets. Labor rates differ between South Florida, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, but the relative advantage stays consistent — and the patented granite + resin chemistry is what makes the over-tile install possible at all. Building new? The same system installs on code-compliant substrates — one material from counter to ceiling. Request a sample to see the surface up close.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is TERRAZZO GraniTech a microcement alternative for kitchens?
Yes. It delivers the same seamless aesthetic with a granite-aggregate + acrylic resin matrix — more flexible than cement-based microcement, inherently water-resistant, and engineered for counters, walls and floors alike.
Can this go directly over my old countertop?
Yes — the requirement is simple: smooth and stable, with no flexing. Over tile, we degloss, close the grout joints with thinset, then apply fiberglass mesh and the quartz primer. Over an already-smooth top — concrete, marble, porcelain — no mesh is needed at all: degloss, prime, apply. Cabinets stay in place; nothing is torn out.
Can it handle heat?
Yes. Your counters get the same system we apply to floors — a build that lives under foot traffic — sealed with strong polyurethane sealers in wide commercial use.
Is it safe for food preparation?
Yes. These are low-VOC products throughout, and the polyurethane sealers that finish the surface are safe for kitchen use — non-porous, stain-resistant and wipeable.
What about the backsplash and walls?
The same surface runs from the counter up the backsplash and across walls and ceiling — one continuous, grout-free material with nowhere for grease or grime to lodge.
Can I use it in new construction or a full remodel?
Yes. It installs over code-compliant substrates — cement board, drywall, cured concrete and screeds — properly prepared and primed.
What surfaces can it be applied to?
Existing tile, laminate, stone, drywall, cement board, cured concrete — and cabinetry and wood — properly prepared and primed.
